Delete account

This page is the public account deletion path for app store listings and in-app account settings.

How to request deletion

Email privacy@yourememberwhen.app from the email address on your YouRememberWhen account with the subject "Delete my YouRememberWhen account". We may ask you to verify access to that email before deleting cloud data.

What deletion includes

Account deletion should remove your account access and associated cloud data that belongs only to you, including account identifiers, cloud-synced memories, media, child profiles, measurements, household membership records, and invite records where deletion is technically and legally appropriate. The app should also support deleting individual memories and child profiles before broad cloud launch.

Shared households

Shared household deletion needs careful handling. If you are the only household owner, YouRememberWhen may need to export, transfer, or delete the household before deleting your account. If you are an invited member, deletion may remove your access without deleting memories that belong to the remaining household.

Local-only data

Local-only memories are stored on your device. To remove local data, delete the app from the device or use any in-app deletion controls available at launch. Local-only data is not recoverable from YouRememberWhen if it was never backed up.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel Apple or Google subscriptions. Cancel active subscriptions through the App Store or Google Play account that purchased them.

What may remain

We may keep limited records where needed for security, fraud prevention, accounting, legal compliance, dispute handling, or to honor an unsubscribe or deletion suppression request. Backup copies are removed on the relevant provider backup rotation, which can take longer than deleting live account data.
